Hello MRA- I'm close to completion of lake cabin with wrap-around porch [13ft x waaay around - approx 2500 sqft]. Cabin and porch have metal roof - I would like to use metal for ceiling of porch. What options do I have? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the prompt response, Todd - I have read some of your other postings / you and the other 'roof dudes' are quite active. I am consiedring "steel roofing" for the ceiling [ rather than sheetrock or plywood ] of my porch - the soffits, facia, etc. are already in. Any other thoughts will be greatly appreciated. cds

There are types of "structural" steel roofing which could conceivably be hung. However, they are not always nicely finished on the underside. Some of them could possibly be installed upside down. Is that what you have in mind? I take it based upon your previous post that this ceiling does not need to be watertight. There are numerous metal ceiling panels available -- the old style historical looking pressed metal ceilings. Is that what you have in mind? I guess I am not sure I understand what look you would like to achieve. You can also email to me at [email protected] Todd Miller
