Hello, my mother had a new copper roof installed - the installer used butyl tape and no smoldering and it leaks. the endes at the end of the roof are coming apart (no interlocking along the seam) can you give me some advice? thanks!

If this was a pre-manufactured roofing material, I suggest you contact the manufacturer. If it was a hand-crafted product then you have no choice but to ry to resolve things direct with the contractor. Many copper roofs are installed without soldering. It all depends upon the product. Todd Miller
