My home roof was installed over an existing roof and is aluminum with material applied so it looks like curved shingles. It has high and low spots. Walking on the high spots will cause denting. I am not agile enough to stick to the low points. Can I use squares of plywood to spread the weight?

Yes, oftentimes either plywood sheets or lumber plans, perhaps with foam rubber or old carpeting ont eh back side, can be rigged to help with this. By all means, though, safety first. Todd Miller
