Can anyone advise me on what would be the best choice for a roof that looks like a copper roof? We are building a house with two large bay window-like half octogonal features. I wanted a copper roof but my wife does not want the eventual green patina. The compromise would be steel or aluminum with a surface coating. I have not seen any of these with a curved (concaved) roof like on typical smaller bay windows. The size of the feature is 8' wide and 4' deep. Looking for suggestions, advice, manufactures, etc.

I would look up a local sheet metal shot that does this type of detail work. They should be able to get you a colour that you want in steel or Aluminum. Copper can be sealed with lacquer to preserve the new look.
