How do I seal roof turbines and sewer vents. Do I cut them off in the attic and make them come out on the flat of the Classic Rib? Where do the screws go? On the flat or on the rib? Thanks for the info. e-mail ([email protected])

You may wish to look into Dektite flashings. Ideally, the pipes would come up in the panel flats. You have to watch that you do not impeded airflow out the vent by angling it too greatly though. Todd Miller

Most residential metal products can be installed direct over existing shingles, along with underlayment. If you're looking for maximum energy efficiency, putting down vertical battens and then horizontal battens can provide good airflo keep the attic cooler. However, remember that not all metal roofing products can be installed over battens. Always follow manufacturer instructions. Todd Miller
