I have a cabin with a 12/12 pitch metal roof. I would like to attach a porch and wonder how you fasten new metal roof to existing metal roof without leakage and to make it look right.

It depends a lot on the roof panel profile but generally this is not easily done. It would be best to try to drop down by 6" and separate the roofs by a vertical fascia if possible. If you wish, email me pictures of what you have. [email protected] Todd Miller
