I have a medium sized house with a 3 in 12 pitch roof in a windy location. The exsisting asphalt shingles have not done well, lots of shingles blowing off each year and many trips to the roof to repair, not to mention the occasional leaks. I am ready to re-roof as soon as the weather improves and would like your recomendation for a type of metal roof that is appropriate.

Most metal systems will resolve your problems but you are getting down to the low end on the slope where the more complicated roofs with valleys, chimneys etc all start to have an impact. Best to choose a style that you like locally on a similar inatallation, then contact the owner and contractor.
