This is a question for the manufacturer however assuming you have purchased a vertical rib metal here is what I suggest.
Walls. Set your drip edge on first at the right height and ensure that it is level and straight. Then measure the length of the wall to be covered see how the sheet width and profile will work out. Install your corner metal plumb and then start your sheets from there. Alternately you may want to work from a large opening to the corners.
Roof- check the roof plain to see if it is square. Again measure the length to be covered and compare to the profile. See how it works out for roof openings such as chimneys, dormers and plumbing stackas as you want them located best for sheet position. If the roof is out of square, establish a square line and work from there out.
