I have a small commercial block building with a ribbed metal roof. There is no type of ventilation for the roof. I do not have any overhang for sofit vents. There is a normal drop ceiling and all of the ducts for the heat are above the ceiling panels. There is fiberglass insulation that appears to be glued to the metal roof. There are days I come in here and ceiling tiles have actually fallen to the floor because they became so wet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to consider having the bottom of the roof sprayed with icynene insulation or use batt insulation with a vapor barrier. You may also wnat to check into www.auravent.com though I am not sure they have products for your exact situation. Todd Miller

Do you think installing a ridge vent would help even though I don't have any soffit vents?

You would get some natural convective airflow which would allow moisture and warm air to escape that way so, yes, I think it would help. I am not sure it would entirely eliminate the problem though. Todd Miller
