I have a green metal roof in the mtns. of NC. The roof has tree cover and has blackened. What can I use in lieu of pressure washing?

You may want to go back to the roofing manufacturer and see what they suggest based upon the specific type of paint finish which may be on your roof. The "general recommendation" though is a solution of water, detergent (such as Tide), and trisodium phosphate (such as Soilax). Be careful. Todd Miller
