I've just had a standing seam metal roof installed over an existing shingle rood which attaches to another building with a metal roof. There is one bad leak and some very questionable areas where I'm fairly certain, even with my minimal expertise, the roof is going to leak. I've had one other roofer look at it and he says it's the worst metal roofing job he's seen in his (considerable) experience. I need an objective roofing "expert" to visit my site and give me an evaluation of the situation and how to deal with it. Where would I find such a person?

First and foremost, I would contact the manufacturer of the roofing to see if they have someone that can inspect it, or someone they can suggest.
Also, if you use the Find A Contractor section of this website, you can search for experienced metal roofing contractors in your area.
There are also a few roofing consultants around with expertise in metal. You may wish to visit the Roofing Consultants Institute website. I am not sure of the URL but it should be easy to Google.
Finally, if you wish, you can email pictures of your roof to me at [email protected] and I may have some ideas to share.

Todd:
Do you have any contacts that I can speak with in the Warm Springs, VA area ? I am planning to have a metal roof installed and want to be sure that the company is experience & reputable.
Thanks,
