I am looking for failure and allowable pressures for several components of metal roofs (deck and covering info predominately). I have searched all over and have had no success in finding anything remotely technical. I would really appreciate any data you could give me. Thanks

Kim, I am not certain that I understand what you are looking for but generally this sort of information will vary from product to product so it must come from the manufacturer based upon testing and engineering they have done. Todd Miller

For example, if I wanted to know what the ultimate failure pressure is for an existing steel deck, how could I find that? Engineering tests or in-situ results would be fine. I have been to many manufacturers website, but it doesn't appear that that kind of information is readily available. I would really appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thanks

You will have to contact the Technical Department of the manufacturer and they can tell you their test results or engineering computations. In some cases, this information may also be included in their ICC (International Code Congress) Building Products Report. Todd Miller
