Can a metal roof be "laid over" on a well-roofed flat composite shingle 14 by 80 mobile home and how much is it?

If you have asphalt shingles now, then your roof should have at least a 3:12 pitch but you should confirm that. Virtually all metal roofs can be installed on a 3:12 or greater pitch. The low weight of metal roofing helps encourage going over old shingles. I would certainly think that this would not be an issue with your home. Price will need to come from a local dealer or distributor or a manufacturer. This website is owned by a group of competing metal roofing manufacturers and it is against our anti-trust guidelines to discuss pricing in this forum. Todd Miller

I would like to know if you can put metal roofing on a mobile home that is 14 by 70 and does not have shingles.

I am guessing that the current roof has very low pitch -- too low for most residential metal roofs. It might be possible to stick-build a steeper pitch on the roof though and then install metal. Todd Miller
