My insurance company just totaled my roof, which was cement tile. I want to put a brown seamless roof on my home. What are some of the items I should ask a contractor and be aware of when selecting a roofing company?
Also, when they apply the paper are they supposed to hot mop it in prior to applying the metal.

Ask for references. Go see past jobs. Talk to past customers. Ask who the installers will be -- will they be the same people as on the jobs you went to see?
As far as underlayment, unless the roof is very low pitch, normally the underlayment is not mopped in.
