hi there...lots of great reading i have an old cottage with existing asphalt shingles that i'd like to cover with steel; problems is there an angle 5/12 to about 2.5/12 on both sides of the ridge. My question is can you bend steel roofing or purchase with an angle in it and failing that what would you suggest other than changeing the roof profile. thankswd

A lot depends upon how gradual the transition is. This is tough to do with many of the vertical seam products though. Some of the shingle-style products may work better.
