I generally depends on what type of metal roof system you have. Sometimes it is best to build a curb similar to a skylight and flash it, then install the sun tunnel over. Also there are rubber boot flashing such as Master Flash that fit rounds and mould to the metal roof profile. They are sold by screw companies. Best to identify the manufacturer of your metal roof system and contact them.
