Folks: With corrugated steel roofing, it is common practice to always install it (say on a simple gable roof) with the longitudinal axes of the corrugations/troughs vertical (from eaves to ridge)right? Installing it with the corrugations parallel with the eaves would be 'against common practice' because the corrugations couldn't 'drain normally', right?

Yes. Such things can be done on vertical walls but I would not suggest it for a roof. Todd Miller
