I have a quick question. We are building a new house and the builder put the wrong color roof on it. We wanted black and they but a bronz color. Instead of replacing it with the corrct color they just painted the bronz to black.
Is this something I should question or be concerned about?
I sounds like a short cut to me but it may be common practice, I just don't know.

Chances are that the bronze finish included some sort of warranty from the manufacturer. Probably at least a 20 year warranty, perhaps more.
You have lost that warranty coverage with the "new" finish and have probably gone to something which will fade quickly. It is very hard to hold pigment in most air-dry black finishes.
