I am building a 56x24 Barn with a 5/12-pitch roof. I like the look of the 5V metal roof and would like to use it on my barn. Where is the best place to get resource information about how to install it, structure requirements and the various other associated products like ridge row (cap), trim etc. Is there a good web site for this or does each vendor have their own?

Is there a downside to using 5v instead of other panels such
as ribbed or etc. A sales person who could get any metal style I wanted said that you would'nt want to put 5v on a
house because the newer styles are far more superior. I really wanted the classic look of 5v.
