I just purchased a commercial building in Stuart, Florida. The tile roof was damaged by last years hurricanes and needs replacing. The building is located close to the water. We were thinking of replacing the roof with a bronze colored metal roof. What type of metal would you sugest?

Being an association of competing manufacturers, we cannot really recommend one product over another. If you email direct to me at [email protected], though, I can send you my company's Guide to Metal Roofing which I think will give you a lot of good additional details and things to think about.
Being close to the water though I would think about corrosion resistance. Look at warranties. Think about non-corrosive metals -- aluminum, copper, zinc.
Also, being in the sunbelt, you should look at fade and chalk resistance and warranties as well as at coatings which utilize the heat reflective pigments.
