currently have an open patio overhang supported by 4x4 pillars and covered with corrugated fiberglass panels. Wondering if metal roofing panels could be used instead of those barn-like corrugated panels? Since the underside of the ceiling/roof will be visible, are the metal panels solid colored? or will the underside be a different look/color? Will the 4x4's support the metal roofing. The paio is of course attached firmly to the house with a 2x8 support beam. Overhang dimensions are about 24' x 12'. Painted metal roofing typically comes with a painted back cot that is an off white or light grey in colour. You can paint it after instalation if you need it to match a certain colour.
