Bats have found their way into the slots under the ridge cap between the standing seams of my roof. The roof is four years old. Are there ridge caps designed to mitigate/prevent this problem? There are foam closures available or this can be closed off with metal flashing or by the design of the ridge cap itself. Various sealants can also be used. You may wish to visit www.profilevent.com I would say that there was an oversight in the original installation which resulted in this.
