I am going to be installing a roof and wanted to ask if you can direct me on what tool to use to cut holes for vents etc. Also is there a site that has installation instructions that i can print and take on the job and use ie mounting gable and eave trim etc Thanks

If you're installing a metal roof intended for residential application, the manufacturer had better be able to provide you with installation details. Many of the manufacturers listed on their sites, if you link to their websites, will have details for installation. Keep in mind that installation details are based upon the exact product being installed. With steel roofing, you should use a guillotine for cutting panels or hand or power shears. You should not use a saw. Todd Miller
