I live in NH and get a fair quantity of wind blown debis coming in under the ridge cap and landing on the attac floor. What is the best way to stop this?

Hi David, I would suspect that the ridge flashing / vent is not correct. Please contact the manufacturer of the roofing for details on how to correctly handle the ridge on your type of roof. The detail of this varies from product to product. Generally, though, it should be finished off in a way that does not allow debris to enter the attic, at least not on a large scale. If you are at a complete loss and cannot contact the manufacturer, feel free to send me pictures of how the ridge is currently handled. Todd Miller [email protected] Todd Miller
