I have a development of 15 straw bale homes that will be clustered relatively close together. The topography is such that some homes are 20 feet below others and 20-40 feet apart. I have clients that want a metal roof, but I am concerned that the metal will reflect the sun's light and heat into the homes above. Is there a way to minimixe how reflective the roof is? Thanks.

Darker and lower gloss colors are less reflective of light and heat. Some manufacturers specifically have dark colors. Also, consider stone-coated products. Use this website to explore the wide variety of available products.
