water damage

Water comes down the side of the house causing damage to side wall and concrete steps. HOw can water be diverted ?

Sounds like you have water from an upper roof flowing onto the siding. Either you have no gatters or ineeficient gutters. I would contact Englert one of our fellow members as they make wonderful gutter products that deal with debris etc.

maybe the roofing does not over hang the facia sufficiently. i/2 inch is recommended; one inch is better. remember contractors often don't read instalation specs! i had this problem myself.
