Is there something a person can do for prevention of clogged guttering on metal roofs.

There are numerous gutter protection products available. With metal roofing, you must choose them somewhat carefully, based upon the eave edge detail of your metal roofing system. Looking for answers to preventing snow/ice from sliding down standing seam roof and causing gutter guards and gutters to be ripped off. Gutter guard is a must in the fall and a little the balance of the year. What can we use that will withstand the winter weather in Wisconsin. The installer seems to be stumped.

Not sure what a snow guard is. Pretty sure it's not some guy standing on the roof with a gun.
