I am building a new residential property in Miami Dade County, FL. I have received two quotes for metal roofing but based on the costs I note on various sites, the estimates seem high. I was hoping you would be able to provide some indication of what the average cost of installation, start to finish, should be in terms of square feet of roofing.

As an association we are limited in comments regarding cost and warranty. You are intending to install a permenant roof system and they do cost cost more. The better the substrate and coating the longer it will last and the more it costs. Best way in FL to choose a roofing product is to ask to see their FL product approval which will indicate the testing completed and how it will perform.
