I have a contractor installing a USS standing seam, clipped in roof. As work has proceeded,I notice that at the gable end the last panel was cut and butted against a standing inverted "L" that was installed as part of the cover for the edge of the roof. I asked the contractor if this was correct, because it appears water can get under both the panel and the edge cover. Also the under side of the standing "L" is a yellowish primer color that shows up readily against the blue color of the roof. Please advise.
