metal roof underlayment

i am building a home with a 10/12 pitch roof...i am going to use a common metal roof ...if i use a osb board and felt do i need to use stripping boards to screw the metal to....

There should be an underlayment on top of the OSB. Most metal roofing materials will not require stripping on top of that. Check with the manufacturer of the product you're installing. Also, I am a strong proponent of good attic ventilation.
