When screwing the metal roofing should you screw them in the flats or on the Ridges . These are three foot wide pieces. How far apart do I install the screws?

The distance of the screws must come from the manufacturer of the roofing. If you are working with a manufacturer who cannot provide this detail, you must find another manufacturer. Most companies suggest having the screws on the peaks (ridges) of the panel or in the flat areas -- but not down in the deep grooves.
