I am flashing over a galvalume porch roof to an upper fir-sided wall which is stapled on and very hard to remove without destroying. I cannot find any specification to cover this in the manufacurer pdf. Would it be acceptable to use simple pitch break flashing affixed to the outside of the wall and sitting on the ridges of the muti-rib roofing if I used foam closure material underneath (in between the bottom of the flashing and the roof)?

This would not be an unusual way to details this situation. I assume you would seal the flashing to the wall.
