Contractor installed 2x6 tongue & groove lumberover 4" x10" roof rafters, then felt, then 2 x 4's on edge spaced two ' apart with rigid foam insulation sheets within the 2 x 4 framing, then the metal. Under the roof cap he put foam strips shaped to fit the protruding v's on the metal sheeting. High winds, shrinkage, or whatever has caused loss of most of the pieces of foam leaving openings that are invaded by bats and red squirrels and chipmunks. Also the opening created by the v's on the eaves end of the metal sheets create the same problems. Howcan these critters be kept out and ventiliation still provided? Thank you.
