What can you do to prevent snow from falling in big chunfs off the metal roof? It's destroying landscaping and dangerous near the doorways.

I would suggest contacting the roofing manufacturer and asking what snow guards or other snow retention product could be put on your roof.

If you are interested in a great snowguard, I would highly recommend Glacier Snowguards. they are the biggest and strongest on the market. Right now, they just received their pattent on a wafflle design allowing for superior adhesion to the roof along with more than enough sheer factor to hold thousand of pounds of ice and snow. Check out glaciersnowguard.com, you can order right there online.

Cory, If you have a tie to Glacier, why not suggest that they consider membership in the Metal Roofing Alliance as a way of growing their sales along with the residential metal roofing industry?
