low pitch roof

i have a lake cabin in minnesota that has a low pitch roof.the pitch is 1.675 inch drop per foot. ym question is , can a metal roof be used on such a roof ? thank you

Yes but only certain kinds are designed to go this low a slope and it would further depend on the roof configuration as valleys need special details. Generally you will probably need a standing seam room. At the same time you should look at the entire roof assembly and any problems that you have had. Quite possibly you may want to upgrade with some insulation at the same time and please don't forget to ventilate under the new roof covering.
