The manufacturer of your metal roofing may have a vent they manufacture or a detailed drawing of how to vent.
For "generic" options, look up products like ProfileVent and Cor-A-Vent. With these products, you may be able to just lift off the current cap, make sure an adequate opening into the attic is present, install their vented material, and re-install your cap.
Galvalume is a metal that is used in several profiles of metal roofing. It is not a metal roof profile in and of itself. While I am probably not the biggest fan of roll vent type products with most metal roof profiles, I have seen them used before.
I posted this question a while back but forgot about it so I am reposting. Are there specific vents made for a metal roof. All the vents I have found are made for shingle roofs, but I have been told they can be used for metal roofs as long as they are correctly installed.
I have a 29 gauge Masterib Panel roof that was installed in 2017.
I have attached a picture of my roof.
Thanks for your help!
