Where does the steel come from?

There are different grades and qualities of steel. There is nothing inherent to Chinese steel that makes it rust "prematurely". The member manufacturers of the Metal Roofing Alliance have agreed to produce panels made from high quality metals. In many cases, that will be American steel but even if it isn't, it still meets defined quality standards.
