I have been told that putting the screws in the rib instead of the valley will make the warranty invalid. The contractor that I have talked to said that he put the screws in the rib portion. Where should the screws be used ? Jerald

This can vary from panel to panel and from manufacturer to manufacturer but, generally, most seem to advise having the fasteners on top of B-ribs or in any large flat areas of the panel. The best thing you can do is check the installation instructions which are available from the roofing manufacturer. If none are available, find a different product.
