You could use less overhang at the bottom but, also, your supplier may be able to custom fabricate a larger ridge cap.
I am 1/2 " short of my 14" ridge vent. I have 1 1/2" overhang beyond the drip edge. Are there larger ridge caps available or some other fix for this?
