Consult your tax professional for details and confirmation but the 25C federal tax credits for reflective roofing and other energy efficient materials were renewed last month, retroactive for 2017. The 25C credits have a lifetime cap of $500. I am not aware of any state tax credits. Some utilities may offer rebates ... PG & E has, for example. Keep in mind that any credits or rebates would only be in effect if the product you had installed is eligible for them.
