i am building a "she-shed" a tiny house for my wife to do her crafts in. it will be air conditioned, with an insulated attic space, well ventilated. i am putting metal roofing on top of purlins. do i need anything under the metal? thank you

Depends on the panel that you use. Many will call for a slip layer or some sort of underlayment.
If you are trying to keep additional heat out of the structure (being in FL), you might want to consider cross battens along with some radiant barrier to speed above deck convective air movement/cooling.
