The issue is likely the pitch and design of your roof. Have you talked to any companies that specialize in mobile home re-roofing?

I've been trying to get a straight answer regarding my 14x70 trailer but haven't gotten one yet. I'm hoping someone on here can help. I'd like to put a metal roof on my trailer but I have a couple contractors who say it cannot be done. But I see many companies who do this on sinless widespread. My trailer has 6" studs on the exterior walls so I'm not sure what the issue is. I understand that the only load bearing walls are the exterior walls but what is the problems with doing a roof over with metal roofing?
