This is a little tricky to ensure watertightness but you would need a detail on the uphill end where the panels bend down into a channel to close off the ends of the panels. The openings on the ribs would then need to be capped or filled in with sealant,

I am in the design phase of a project which has several canopies with standing seam, shed roofs. I want to have it so the ribs of the standing seams can be viewed from below on the high side (so the flashing could not cap over the ribs there). I have seen this detail accomplished before, though I am not quite sure how. Any ideas on how to accomplish this with a standing seam roof?
Thanks for any suggestions!
