We have a 3yr old home with a very steeply pitched standing seam roof. Our neighbors have the same roof, same contractor. I've noticed swallows going in their roof under the ridge cap, and while we don't have birds yet (knock on wood), we have lots of fir needles that blow in during heavy storms and settle on the insulation. Was the ridge cap put on incorrectly? Is there anything we can do at this late date? I've gotten various answers from various contractors and don't know which way to turn. HELP
