Can a metal roof be installed effectively on a 2/12 roof pitch? Having a home built with a covered back patio with this pitch. Thank you.

We have a flatter slope roof maybe 1/15. Is that too flat for a roof?

There are mechanically seamed standing seam roofs that can be used on pitches as low as 0.25:12.

At a 2.5:12 pitch roof, most vertical seam products are approved for use. Metal shingles are not.

Yes. Must be a mechanical seam standing seam at that low a pitch if its my home.
