This will require a vertical seam product designed for lower pitches. I believe that the following MRA manufacturers probably produce products suitable for a 2:12 pitch:
Accel
Classic
Custom-Bilt
Englert
Gerard
Ideal
McElroy
Petersen

U have been told that we don't have enough pitch on the part of the house that was built with a flat roof. We have had the roof leak from time to time. The last roofer put a rolled roof on that seems to be holding but occasionaly leaks around the two skylighs which have sealed with a silcone, Our other pitched roof needs to be done altho we don;t have have any leaks at this time.
A roofer suggested thjat we put a pitched new roof over the flat roof to prevent any future leaks and discountinue the two skylights. He said the nails are coming up the the flat roof. What he could do was to spray the flat roof but that would have to done every few yeas.
That is why i thought of a metal roof for the entire house which is abundant in the New England area.
One roofer suggested a solid cooper roof but he never showed up for the appointment.
Would a vertoical metal roof solve my problem

There are several options for increasing pitch with metal framing or traditional wood framing.
Metal is a very low weight roofing option.
However, before undertaking this sort of revision to your home, I strongly suggest hiring a structural engineer to do an analysis to ensure your home can handle this revision.

I have a minimum pitch on my covered patio. The rubberized roofing material I had put on some 8 years ago is now beginning to fail. I have a minimum pitch because of the configuration of the original house as I extended by patio .Would vertical metal roofing finally solve my problem. The overall size of the enclosed patio is approxiately 15feet in depth and 29 feet in length.

Most metal roofs require a 3:12 pitch. (3' of rise for every 12' of run). Some standing seam roofs can be used down to 2:12.
The manufactured metal roofs designed for lower pitches have to be "field-seamed" meaning that a seamer machine is run down the panel joints to crimp the metal tight. These types of roofs are commonly used on industrial applications.
