mobil home metal roof

I have a pitched metal roof on my mobile home and it makes a lot of noise when the wind blows. Was thinking about screwing the roof down to rafters. Should I do that ? Going to use rubber seated screws and was thinking about using the white rubber roof sealer that you mop on. Was wondering if that was a good idea or not. My mobile home is a 2000 Fleetwood 16' x 80' single wide with a pitched roof and roof is still clean looking and in good shape.
