I have an older house with a very low pitch. The current roof is not leaking but is a 15 year old roll roof. I was thinking about installing a Metal roof on top of the existing roof.
Any thoughts?

This could make a good application. You need to determine the pitch of the roof and then look for a metal roof suitable for that roof pitch. Most metal roofs can be used as low as 3:12 pitch and some down to 2:12. For roof pitches under 2:12, you will need a mechanically seamed standing seam. In no situation should any product ever be installed on a roof pitch lower than what its manufacturer recommends.

Metal works great here in the right application.
Be sure to incorporate a slip layer between the two materials and deal with a qualified contractor.
