Hello. My insurance agent told me that I can get significant home insurance discounts if I get a special metal roof which is not damaged by hail. He said there are two different levels of discounts. How do I know which roofing types qualify for these discounts? Thanks.

Products are rated per the UL 2218 impact resistance test. Most metal roofs have a rating. The individual manufacturers will be able to tell you about their products and then once you choose a product I still would suggest double checking with your insurance agent,
