My Dallas TX townhouse has a 20 foot by 20 foot flat roof over the master bedroom. Currently, there is an asphalt flat roof, on top of which are walkable deck boards. The roof is old enough that it needs to be replaced. I'm wondering if there is any version of metal roof currently on the market that could serve both as flat roof AND as walkable deck. The metal roof would need to be designed for regular use as walkable deck flooring, and not just an occasional walk for maintenance purposes.

Technically speaking you could walk a standing seam roof that was a mechanical double lock, however, it will show foot traffic and wear over time.
